Boarding - Care Packages from $425/mo and up
Serving our clients by meeting the needs of the WHOLE horse
"I board my horse at Hoofbeats Holistic. There are many, many boarding facilities in Upstate New York, but really good ones are few and far between. Admittedly, I had pretty high standards when it came time to choosing the place where my horse was to live. Hoofbeats far exceeded what I was looking for in every way.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Can you accommodate a horse with special needs?
Absolutely. We work very hard to meet the specific needs of each horse under our care. We specialize in lameness and metabolic conditions . Please feel free to call and we can discuss the specific needs of your horse and formulate a care plan together.
Do you have a minimum stay for Rehab and Recovery?
Horses arriving for rehab and recovery are encouraged to stay a minimum of six months. On the road to regaining health, a longer period of time may be warranted but we feel a six month commitment allows time to see measurable results and help the owner set a new course of care and management when the horse returns home.
Does my horse have to be barefoot?
Yes. We are a barefoot only facility.
Please feel to contact us if you wish to discuss this choice and how it can benefit your horse too.
Will my horse be stalled at night?
We have a variety of shelter areas built into our environment.
If your horse wishes to hang out in one, they are available for his choosing.
Can you accommodate large Draft horses, Stallions or Brood Mares?
No. Our environment was never created with the intention of accommodating larger draft breeds or breeding animals. Smaller draft types or crosses may be accepted on a case by case basis.
Do you have riding and training facilities?
Of course. We have a brand new 72' x 140' indoor riding and training facility. We have a custom 80 foot round pen that we use as part of our exercise, rehabilitation and physical therapy programs. We have a stone dust exercise and driving track on property for riding or cart work. All are welcome to use them freely. Trails and rural country road riding are also available. We are very pleased to have trainer Dan McCarthy of Catskill Natural Horse who will make on-site appointments to assist our clients with any therapy exercises, lessons or training issues they require.
